Applications For The 2024 Spirit Award Are Now Being Accepted Until November 15, 2023

The Bettie Brand Mother’s Empowerment Fund’s mission is to provide women in need with a hand up, not a hand out, so that they may live with dignity and independence.  To that end, we annually award grants of up to $10,000 for women who are in financial need and can use a grant to move towards achieving financial independence for herself. The grants may be used only within the state of Georgia. Spirit Award recipients are asked to “pay it forward” in whatever way they find possible in the future (for example, volunteering to help another woman in need).

To apply for a grant, either complete and submit the online form below or download a form, complete offline and email as indicated in the form.

 

To apply for a 2020 Spirit Award grant, please download and complete 1) the Candidate’s Application and 2) the Sponsoring Organization Recommendation Form and return to  Patdbull60@gmail.com by January 31, 2020.
