Jackie Garson Howard 2019
A third generation Atlantan, Ms. Howard has led a distinguished professional life balanced with a rich and meaningful personal life. For the past 45 years, Ms Howard has owned Paces Papers by Jackie, the only fine stationery store in Atlanta. Her love of paper, design and etiquette led her to open the store as “a gift to Atlanta.” During her many years, she has used her creativity and design talents to help countless non-profits. Additionally, Ms. Howard was the founding Board Member of the Women’s Commerce Club and Women Business Owners; President, Brandeis Women’s Committee; Member, Leadership Atlanta; and Member, Futures, Inc. In 1984 with her father, Bernie Howard, Ms. Howard founded what is now known as The Zaban Paradies Center for Homeless Couples at The Temple in Atlanta. Surrounded by a rich circle of friends and extended family, Ms Howard enjoys a love of fine dining, going to theater at The Alliance, concerts at the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, travel around the country and the world and a general zest to experience all that life has to give. With it all, Ms Howard is most proud to be the mother of her three sons and grandmother to her nine grandchildren all of whom live in Atlanta.
